If you are unable to come into our shop/showroom (the majority of our clientele), please send us your items that you would like included.

Please ensure when you send your items that you include this information form (click here to download pdf file) and email me with the COURIER COMPANY name and TRACKING #.

*Please Note: return shipping address must be a Mon-Fri 9-5 commercial address where someone is always present to sign for incoming parcels. We do not ship to residential addresses.

As soon as we receive your items we will email you and let you know they have arrived.

When the frame is ready we will email you a picture of it along with the invoice and secure payment link.

Once payment is received we will arrange the pick-up with you if local. Or, email you the shipping information (courier name & tracking info).

When receiving your picture / jersey frame it is your responsibility and right to check the outer packaging and if need be the contents before signing for it.  Once you sign for anything from a courier their liability ends and a claim is very hard to get processed.

In the unlikely event the outer packaging seems to be ok and after signing you find there is some damage you will need to contact us within 24 hours for a claim to be honoured. The shipping companies do not honour claims reported after this time period. Therefore no credit or repairs will be covered if damages are not reported immediately.

WHEN WE SHIP

All frames are fully inspected and properly packaged for shipping.  Extra care is used by wrapping each piece with air filled bubble wrap and either paper or foam corners to protect the frame from any damage before being placed into custom fitted boxes for shipping.

Framed By Design’s shipping policy is to ship to Canada and the Continental United States with rates based on geographic areas and parcel size. In Canada rates are based on the 10 provinces (from Newfoundland to British Columbia) and on the northern territory areas while in the United States rates are based on the mainland area only.

Shipping to the Yukon Territories, Nunavut and North West Territories is considerably more expensive; depending on where you live in Canada and the size of the parcel.

Please note that if you live in a northern or remote community in any of the Canadian provinces or territories please call us for a shipping quote.

We only ship to Commercial addresses, we do not ship to residences. All items that are shipped must have someone that is present to sign for them (Monday to Friday 9-5). The shipping company will try to deliver the package from one to three times, and may leave it at a local depot for it to be picked up with notification left at the client’s door. If they cannot reach you, the package is sent back to Framed By Design Ltd. and another shipping charge will be assessed for re-shipping it back.

1) The parcels are quite large and rated as “oversized” by all countries so shipping to

a business is cheaper than residential

2) No matter what someone is always present to sign for parcels at a business so the

rates are lower (no issues arise from parcels being left at a doorstep)

3) Potential parcel damage is low to nonexistent due to less handing from business to business versus residential shipping channels.

Any damages caused during shipping must be reported to us within 24 hours of receiving your order for a claim to be honored. The shipping companies do not honor claims reported outside of this time frame, so anything reported beyond 24 hours will not be credited.

Orders of any online pre-framed product will be processed within 1-2 business days and will typically ship within 5 business days of being processed.

An informative shipping letter and the tracking number will be sent to you once your order ships. Please check your spam folder as some email programs will filter these notifications as spam

Depending on where you are located, shipping may take 1-3 weeks. If the product you ordered is on back order your shipment will be temporarily delayed.

Shipping rates are based on the clients shipping address. The address must be a commercial address and not residential in order to save shipping costs and extra handling that can potentially cause damage.

A quote can be provided with a commercial address, contact name and phone number provided.

Framed By Design Ltd. has partnered with FedEx & Sameday in order to use the weight and dimensions of our items to calculate the shipping cost as per the current rates offered by these companies. This will take place at checkout and includes all packaging. Please note these prices (online) can be higher than if you email us for a direct quote

The following can increase shipping costs:

*The amount of insurance requested – we suggest the client insure parcels as well through their homeowners insurance

**If you want us to use a courier company of your choice it is subject to a $30 Admin Fee.

***Remote locations may be subject to surcharges not calculated by the site.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO SHIPPING RATE IS FINAL AT THE TIME OF CHECKOUT. YOU MAY BE CONTACTED BY A REPRESENTATIVE AFTER CHECKOUT TO BE INFORMED OF AN INCREASED CHARGE DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE (RURAL, ETC.) OR DUE TO THE ITEMS BEING SENT. UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER FOR A FULL REFUND SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO.

We have had great luck and not run into many problems with damage during shipping, but please be aware of the laws to cover the courier industry. You’re entitled to inspect the delivery and refuse for any reason. If you sign for it – this constitutes the all clear. If you haven’t checked the contents for damage and discover it at a later time, any claim with the courier will most likely be void.
